What is the octet rule? Atoms with fewer than eight electrons in the outer energy level will attempt to lose, gain, or share electrons with other atoms to achieve stability.
A chemical bond formed by the transfer of electrons from one atom to another is called? ionic, or electrovalent, bond
A chemical bond formed by the sharing of one or more pairs of electrons between the outer energy levels of two atoms is called? Covalent bond
Nonpolar molecules have electrons that are shared equally among atoms and therefore have? Non polarity
