| Muscular Dystrophy | Group of genetic diseases characterized by atrophy (wasting) of skeletal muscle tissues. |
| Poliomyelitis | Viral infection of the Torn muscle nerves that control skeletal muscle movement |
| Myasthenia Gravis | Chronic disease characterized by muscle weakness, especially in the face and throat |
| Hernias | Weakness of abdominal muscles can lead to a hernia |
| Posture | Maintaining optimal body position |
| Perineum | The muscular pelvic floor fill-ing the diamond-shaped outlet |
| Antagonist | muscles that, when contracting, directly oppose prime movers |
| Synergists | muscles that contract at the same time as the prime mover |
| Fixator muscles | Function as joint stabilizers |
