Science - the scientific method

Hypothesis An educated guess/prediction
Test Conducting an experiment to test your hypothesis
Conclusion A summary of the results of an investigation. Answers the original question asked
Analyse data Considering experiment data to see if your hypothesis is true
Question How, what, when, who, which, why or where?
Observation What you have noticed and that you want to provide a scientific explanation for
Independent variable Something that I change in the experiment
Dépendant variable Something that changes because of the independent variable
Controlled variable Conditions that don’t change during the experiment
