Antivirus software Software that helps to prevents viruses
Hacker a person who uses computers to gain unauthorized access to data
Phishing sending emails pretending to be from reputable companies in order to gain personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.
Spyware software that enables a user to obtain information about another's computer activities without their knowledge
Malware software that is specifically designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a computer system.
Virus a malicious software program loaded onto a user's computer without the user's knowledge and performs malicious actions
Digital Footprint The trail that you leave behind when you engage in online experiences
Spam Irrelevant or inappropriate messaging sent through email to a large number of recipients; also known as junk mail.
Cookies Small text-based bits of information about your browser that a web server saves.
Passphrases made up of four or more random words making them longer than a traditional password.
