Retina converts light into electrical signals that is interpreted by the brain
Cornea focuses the light that enters the eye and covers the pupil and chamber
Pupil allows light to enter into the eyes and adjusts the amount of light entering
Aqueous Humor provides nutrition to eye and maintains the eye in a pressurized state
Iris regulates the amount of light that enters the eye
Vitreous Humor maintains round shape, vision clarity, and absorbs shock
Sclera helps maintain shape, protects from injury
Tapetum reflects visible light back to the retina and increases the amount of photoreceptors
Optic Nerve relays messages from eye to brain in visual images
Blind Spot connects optic nerve to retina, but it lacks light-sensitive cells (hence blindness)
