causes of the digital divide | -some ppl don’t have enough money to buy new devices like phones and laptops- v expensive -urban areas are more likely to have greater network coverage than rural -older people (can’t use new technology) |
what has this divide caused | - a global divide- an inequality between richer and poorer countries -One Laptop Per Child, provides laptops to children in Central Asia, Africa and South America to combat global and digital divide |
