Which 2 layouts can you use to create or modify a report or form? Layout View Design View
What does Report View do? shows the report on the screen
What does Print Preview do? shows the report as it will appear when printed
What does Layout View ? *shows the report on the screen * allows changes to be made to the report (easiest way to make changes)
What does Design view ? *allows you to make changes to the report *does NOT show the actual report
What are controls? various object on a report; controls can be moved
What are calculated controls? used to display data that is calculated from other data, such as a total
What is a subtotal? a total for just the records in a group
What is grand total? a total for all records; at the end of the report
What is conditional formatting? special formatting that is applied to values that satisfy some criterion
What does a rule do? states that if the values in the field meet a specific criteria, values will be formatted in chosen color (most the time red})
What is a theme? consists of a selection of colors and fonts that are applied to the various sections in a report or form
