Digital Footprint Data on a person that is on the internet because of their activity on it.
Cookies Data from a website that is stored by your web browser for later by use by the website.
Geo-Location The process of identifying someone or a device based on digital information.
Metadata Data that gives information about other data
Data Facts and statistics collected on something, or one for analyzing.
Spreadsheet An electronic data sheet that shows data in columns and rows for things like calculations.
Browser History A list of things you did on a browser, like visiting a website or watching a video.
Digital Literacy The ability for someone to find, evaluate, transmit and create information using media on digital platforms, or typing on a physical or digital device.
Blog An regularly website or page usually ran by one person or a small group. Typically written in a informal way of writing as they tend to sound like conversations.
Dossier A compiled group of documents on someone or something.
Derogatory To lessen the reputation of one or to degrade their accomplishments or to show critical and rude attitude.
Social networking The use of a specific website or application to interact with other people or to find those with similar interests.
Viral An image, video, etc. that spreads quickly from one internet user to another.
Profile A summary of a users personal facts or situation on a application or social media.
Privacy settings A part of a application that allows the user to control what information people see, or is shared by the application.
