When using faire make sure that un, une, du, de la is replaced with de when the expression is negated.
Use faire la connaissance de before someone's name or another noun that identifies a person whom you do not know.
Je vais enfin faire la connaissance de Martin. I'm finally going to meet Martin.
Je vais faire la connaissance des joueurs. I'm going to meet the players.
sortir used to express leaving a room or a building or going out with friends or on a date. je sors nous sortons tu sors vous sortez il/elle/on sort ils/elles sortent
Tu sors souvent avec tes copains? Do you go out often with your friends?
Mon frere n'aime pas sortir avec Chloe. My brother doesn't like to go out with Chloe.
Quand sortez-vous? When are you going out?
Mes parents ne sortent pas lundi. My parents aren't going out Monday.
Partir used to say someone is leaving a large placde like a city, country or region.
When using "partir" the preposition pour is used to name of a destination to say to leave for (a place)

A quelle heure partez-vous? At what time are you leaving?
