To negate in le futur proche place ne/n' before the conjugated form of aller and pas after it. Je ne vais pas oublier la date I'm not going to forget the date.

Le futur proche can be used with the infinitive of aller to mean going to go (somewhere)
Elle va aller a la piscine She's going to go to the pool

The preposition "a" can be translated in various way in Englist to mean: to, in, or at.
When "a" is followed by the definite article le or les, the preposition a and the definite article contract into one word a + le = au a + les = aux
a + Le = au
a + les = aux
THe preposition does not contract with a + la or a + l'
The preposition "a" often indicates a physical location as with aller a and habiter a
