What is continuous integration? we need to perform integration test by integrating all modules. In order to do that an automated process for each piece of code is performed on daily bases so that all your code get tested.
Continuous Deployment ● Deliver every change to a production-like environment ● Ensure business applications and services function as expected through automated testing ● Complete automation can be deployed to production with a push of a button when the business is ready

Jenkins Jenkins is an open source tool with plugin built for continuous integration purpose. The principle functionality is to keep a track of version control system and to initiate and monitor a build system and provides reports and notifications to alert.

Continuous integration steps ● Developers integrate code into a shared reepository several times a day ● Each push triggers an automated build ● It allows teams to detect problems early
What is the difference between Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment? CDeployement will automatically deploy to the live environment. CDelivery will wait for humans to decide to deploy to a live environment.
Jenkins (short) In short, Jenkins is an open source automation server. Written in java and is platform independent.
What is a build trigger? A build trigger tells Jenkins when to execute the job. Some build triggers include: ◦Start a build job once another build job has completed ◦Kick off builds at periodical intervals ◦Poll the SCM (Git, SVN, etc.) for changes
What is an automate pipeline? In devOps we try to automate the process of deploying an application from start to finish.
The pipeline all the steps necessary to deploy an application Development & Unit testing, push to a shared repository for collaboration, build the application, integration testing, code smell testing, any other post build processes, deployment.
What is devops? DevOps is a mindset! A culture change!
What is a “build”? What is the end result of a build? What is the build tool you’ve used for Java projects?
