Terms explained

S.E.R. State, Explain ,Relate
STATE Give a heading for every point . Fact, one or two words only
EXPLAIN: Give two textbook facts. Each point must be explained, using keywords from the LC text and also showing understanding of the concepts dealt with in the course
Relate Link the question back to whatever the question has asked you
ILLUSTRATE Two Facts,& Give an example in your answer.
EVALUATE “In my opinion…” state a preference, giving a reason for your choice .-a genuine attempt to actually give an opinion, not just text book knowledge.
ANALYSE State what is good and bad about the term
EXAMPLE Give a real life example.
CALCULATE Numerical Data,Ratios.
CONTRAST Compare,Two facts each
DEFINE: Precise meaning required
DEMONSTRATE Show understanding, Examples.
DISCUSS Two Facts,Full sentences.
SHORT Questions Give a minimum of 2 key terms/points for each explanation of any term,( definition +advantage/disadvantage or fully explained example)
