Digital Footprint

Digital Footprint Refers to one's unique set of traceable digital activities, actions, contributions and communications manifested on the Internet or digital devices.
Cookies text files with small pieces of data — like a username and password — that are used to identify your computer as you use a computer network.
Geolocation Refers to the identification of the geographic location of a user or computing device via a variety of data collection mechanisms.
Metadata data that provides information about other data", but not the content of the data, such as the text of a message or the image itself.
Data set of values of qualitative or quantitative variables about one or more persons or objects.
Spreadsheet is a computer application for computation, organization, analysis and storage of data in tabular form.
Browser History Refers to the list of web pages a user has visited, as well as associated metadata such as page title and time of visit.
Digital Literacy Refers to an individual's ability to find, evaluate, and clearly communicate information through typing and other media on various digital platforms.
Blog Discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries.
Dossier Collection of documents about a particular person, event, or subject.
Derogatory Showing a critical or disrespectful attitude.
Social Networking interactive technologies and digital channels that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, interests, and other forms of expression through virtual communities and networks.
Viral relating to or involving an image, video, piece of information, etc., that is circulated rapidly and widely from one internet user to another.
Profile collection of settings and information associated with a user.
Privacy Settings the part of a social networking website, internet browser, piece of software, etc. that allows you to control who sees information about you.
