| taxonomy scale | Taxonomy is the science of naming, describing and classifying organisms and includes all plants, animals and microorganisms |
| ecosystem | a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. |
| homostasis | living things use to actively maintain fairly stable conditions necessary for survival. |
| Body system | Body systems are groups of organs and tissues that work together to perform important jobs for the body. |
| Respritory system | the system in living organisms that takes up oxygen and discharges carbon dioxide in order to satisfy energy requirements. |
| digestive system | The system of organs responsible for getting food into and out of the body and for making use of food to keep the body healthy. |
| Waste system | Waste is any substance which is discarded after primary use, or is worthless, defective and of no use. |
| The circultory system | The circulatory system is made up of blood vessels that carry blood away from and towards the heart. |
