MULTIMEDIA
| Term | Definition |

| Multimedia | means that computer information can be represented through audio, video, and animation in addition to traditional media (i.e., text, graphics/drawings, images). |
| Multimedia | is a media that uses multiple form of information content and information processing. |
| Linear Multimedia | content progresses without any navigational control for the viewer. |
| Non-linear Multimedia | content offers user interactivity to control progress as used with computer games. |
| Text | characters that are used to create words, sentences, and paragraphs. |
| Graphics | A digital representation of non-text information, such as a drawing, chart, or an image. |
| Image | is something that can be seen, but it is not physically there. It can be a photograph, a painting, or a picture on a television or computer screen. |
| Audio | music, speech, or any other sound. |
| Sound | is perhaps the richest element of multimedia. It is meaningful "Speech" in any language from a whisper to a scream. It can provide the listening pleasure of music, the startling accent of special effects, or the ambience of a mood-setting background. |
| Animation | Flipping through a series of still images. It is a series of graphics that create an illusion of motion. |
| Video | is the technology of capturing, recording, processing, transmitting, and reconstructing moving pictures. |
