Parts of a computer

TermDefinition
keyboard Used for entering information into the computer. It contains many letters, numbers and symbols.
mouse Used for navigating clicking on the computer screen. Single and double clicks are used for different functions.
mouse mat The pad that the mouse sits on.
monitor This part looks like a TV screen and show you what you are doing on your computer.
printer A machine that copies the information from your computer on to paper.
projector This is the machine used to project what is on the computer screen on to the whiteboard.
speakers These connect to the computer to make it possible for us to hear the sounds it makes.
CPU This is the processor and main part of the computer.
router A networking device that connects computers to a network, such as the internet.
USB A flash drive that serves data.
