| Leadership | capacity to lead |
| Power | possession of control, authority, or influence over others |
| Position Power | capacity to influence others based on their acceptance that the influencer occupies a formal position |
| Reward Power | a capacity to influence others based on the ability or the promise to deliver desired rewards |
| Expert Power | a capacity to influence others that is based on the assumption that the influencer is highly skilled. |
| Identity Power | ability to influence others based on their identity with the person |
| Leadership Style | the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people to accomplish a task |
| Initiative | energy or aptitude displayed in initiation of action |
| Human Relations | relations with or between people, particularly the treatment of people in a professional context |
| Integrity | firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values |
| Autocratic Leadership | one person controls all the decisions and takes very little inputs from other group members |
| Democratic Leadership | type of leadership style in which members of the group take a more participative role in the decision |
| Free-rein Leadership | type of leadership style in which leaders are hands-off and allow group members to make the decisions |
| Delegate | entrust a task or responsibility to another person, typically one who is less senior than oneself |
| Self-managed teams | small group of employees who take full responsibility for delivering a service or product through peer collaboration without a manager's guidance |
| Open Leader | having the confidence and humility to give up the need to be in control while inspiring commitment from people to accomplish goals |
| Situational Leader | leadership style in which a leader adapts their style of leading to suit the current work environment |
