Story Elements

TermDefinition
Characters imaginary or real people represented in a text.
Sequence an order in which related events, movements, or things follow each other.
Central Message a unifying idea that reoccurs in a literary work. The subject matter or theme that the story is written around or about.
Plot the events of a story.
Setting where a drama or story takes place.
Challenge something that is difficult and tests your strengths and skills
Comprehend to fully understand
