Simple Squamous Alveoli of lungs, lining of blood, lymphatic vessels, surface layer of the pleura, pericardium, and peritoneum
Stratified Squamous(Nonkeratinized) Surface of the mucous membrane lining the mouth, esophagus, and vagina
Transitional Surface of the mucous membrane lining the urinary bladder and uterus
Simple Columnar Surface layer of the mucous lining of the stomach, intestines, and part of the respiratory tract
Pseudostratified Columnar Surface of the mucous membrane lining the trachea, large bronchi, nasal mucosa, and parts of the male reproductive tract
Simple Cuboidal Ducts and tubes of many organs including the exocrine glands and kidneys
Stratified Cuboidal/Columnar Ducts of the sweat glands and mammary glands, lining of the pharynx, lining portions of the male urethra
