Canvas Format, Links, Inserting and Formatting Images

TermDefinition
Font A term combining the various aspects of text in an electronic document including the general appearance of the text (typeface), sizes, styles, and spacing.
Highlight To make the background of something a different color to make it stand out.
Bold Letters made thicker to make them stand out.
Italic Letters put on a slant to make them stand out.
Hyperlink A code that connects to another electronic document.
Align/Alignment How text or objects on a page are positioned relative to the margins--left, center, right, or fully justified (stretched to fill)
Line Spacing The amount of space between lines of text.
URL A web address.
Resize Changing the size of an image.
In Line Making an image behave like a letter in a line of text.
Wrap Text Making an image freely moveable in a document, with text flowing around it
Break Text Making an image freely moveable in a document and take up an entire line, with no text on either side.
Crop To reduce the viewable part of an image by trimming away parts.
