TermDefinition
Digital Footprint a trail of data you create while using the Internet. It includes the websites you visit, emails you send, and information you submit to online services.
Cookies text files with small pieces of data like a username and password that are used to identify your computer as you use a computer network
Geo Location the process of finding, determining and providing the exact location of a computer, networking device or equipment.
Meta Data summarizes basic information about data, making finding & working with particular instances of data easier
Data information processed or stored by a computer
Spreadsheet a file that exists of cells in rows and columns and can help arrange, calculate and sort data
Browser History the list of web pages a user has visited, as well as associated data such as page title and time of visit.
Digital Literacy having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices.
Blog a website that contains online personal reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks, videos, and photographs provided by the writer also
Dossier a group of papers that contain information about someone or something
Derogatory Something that's derogatory is insulting or disrespectful
Social Networking online community of individuals who exchange messages, share information, and, in some cases, cooperate on joint activities
Viral a malicious software program loaded onto a user's computer without the user's knowledge and performs malicious actions.
Profile a visual display of personal data associated with a specific user, or a customized desktop environment.
Privacy Settings the part of a social networking website, internet browser, piece of software, etc. that allows you to control who sees information about you
