Computer Parts/ Keys

Identify the basic parts of the computer and important keys

CPU or Tower Box under our monitors
Monitor Screen to view the computer
Keyboard Where we type or press ENTER
Mouse How we select or click our choice
Speaker Where the sound is played
Headphone jack Where the headphones get plugged into for sound
50% Volume for headphones to avoid damage to the ears
Refresh Reload a frozen screen
Speaker Volume and Mute Above arrow keys on the keyboard
Backspace Allows you to go backwards to erase a typed letter
Enter Allows you to select something without your mouse
Shift + Letter Hold down to capitalize a letter
Shift + Number Hold down to make a symbol like ! or @
Power Button- Long Hold Hold down to power off
Power Button- Short Hold Brings up menu to sign out or power down
Key Pad On a keyboard to type numbers or press Enter. Must have number lock on to use this.
Arrows Go up, down, left, or right without using the mouse

Voices
