| Citizenship | The state of being vested with rights, privileges, and duties |
| Empathy | the ability to understand and share the feelings of another |
| Foresight | The ability to predict what will happen or will be needed in the future |
| Gratitude | The equality of being thankful: ready to show appreciation |
| Health care | The maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health through medical services |
| Helping professions | Careers that nurture the growth of problem a person has |
| Humanitarian | Concerned with or seeking to promote human welfare |
| Longevity | Long existence or service |
| Needs assessment | A process for determining and addressing needs |
| Oath | A solemn promises regarding ones future action or behavior |
| Patient-center care | Care that is respectful of and responsible to individual patient needs |
| Public Health | The health of the population as a whole, monitor and regulated by the state |

| Servant leadership | A philosophy of leading others by putting the members need over your own |
