| Innovation | This is an operational process which involves analyzing the essential managerial functions of planning, organization, staffing, directing & controlling. |
| Time Management | This involves making the most cost-effective use of the time available to complete a task effectively. |
| Leadership | It has been defined as the means by which individuals or groups of people are persuaded by management to work towards the achievement of agreed goals. |
| Employer | This is the boss who pays the wages & gives instructions. |
| Motivation | This is the set of forces that cause people to behave in certain ways. |
| Delegation | This involves giving subordinates the responsibility for specific areas of work & the authority to make decisions related to these areas. |
| Autocratic leadership | This type of leadership delegates little authority to others & does not consult others in making decisions. |
| Democratic leadership | This leadership style shares power with others & delegates authority to subordinates |
| Laissez-Faire leadership | This style of leadership delegates almost all authority to subordinates, interferes very little & places trust in the abilities & decisions of subordinates. |
| Controlling | This involves ensuring an organization stays on coarse to meet its objectives by checking results against the targets & taking corrective action if necessary. |
