Digital Footprint A digital footprint is a trail of data you create while using the Internet.
Cookies Cookies are small files that websites send to your device that the sites then use to monitor you and remember certain information about you.
GeoLocation The process of identifying the geographical location of a person of information via the internet.
MetaData A set of data that describes and gives information about other data.
Data Facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.
Spreadsheet An document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid.
Browser History Web browsing history is the list of web pages a user has visited.
Digital Literacy Digital literacy is the ability to find information through writing and other media on digital platforms.
Blog A regularly updated website or web page.
Dossier A collection of documents about a particular person, event, or subject.
Derogatory Showing a critical or disrespectful attitude.
Social Networking The use of websites to interact with other users, or to find people with similar interests to oneself.
Viral An image, video, advertisement that is circulated rapidly on the internet.
Profile A short article giving a description of a person or organization.
Privacy Settings The state or condition of being free from being observed or disturbed by other people.
