Digital Footprint All of the information about a person that can be found online
Cookies Computer program, installed on hard drives, that provides identifying information

Spreadsheet A program that allows you to use rows and columns of data to manage, predict, and present information.
Browser History The Internet browser's record of web pages stored in the Internet cache.
Digital Literacy Process of teaching and learning about technology and the use of technology
Blog A series, or log, of discussion items on a page of the World Wide Web
Dossier A file of detailed information on a person or subject
Derogatory Showing a critical or disrespectful attitude
Social Networking The creation and maintenance of personal and business relationships especially online
Viral Media messages shared through rapid replication via the internet
Profile A collection of personal data about a specific person. This may include biographical information, lists of interests and images or photographs of the person.
Privacy Settings The part of a social networking website, internet browser, piece of software, etc. that allows you to control who sees information about you
