Intellectual Property IP An idea that you have about a story, character or concept
Copyright This protects your art when you have actually created a physical piece of artwork
Trademark An extra level of copyright protection that you will need to apply for from the government
Visual Contrast The difference between two visual elements
Unity Several visual elements that come together to form one visual element
Negative Space The space between objects in a design
Kerning The space between letters of a font or typestyle
Vector Art Art that is created by points & lines that can be filled in with colors
Copyright Infringement Using someone's copyrighted work without their permission
Plagiarism Stealing other people's works or ideas & claiming that they are your own.
