French 4 - Mythic Creatures

TermDefinition
Un dragon A dragon; Strong, can fly, love treasure, tend to be on the evil side/enemy of the hero
Un(e) nain(e) A dwarf; Short, strong, like to drink, work in mines/forges, practical, can be evil or good
Un lutin An elf; beautiful, wise, forest/nature dwelling, live for a long time, often good, very skilled and sometimes magical
Une fée A fairy; Small, beautiful, magical, normally on the side of good (but can be evil)
Une fantôme A ghost; dead humans, usually evil
Un génie ou un djinn A genie; magical, wish granting, normally good/neutral, like to trick people by granting wishes literally
Un(e) géant(e) A giant; large, stupid, usually on the side of evil/neutral
Un griffon A griffon; part lion part eagle, flying, normally on the side of good
Une sirène A mermaid; beautiful, magical singing voice, like to kill sailors by drowning them
Un vampire A vampire; Formerly human, drinks blood, fast, strong, killed by sunlight, beautiful to seduce victims
Un sorcier ou une sorcière A wizard/witch; use magic to accomplish goals, stereotype of the "ugly witch", usually evil but can be good
Une licorne A unicorn; Horse with a magic horn, helps heroes with a "pure soul"
