QuestionAnswer
Electronic Retailing the direct sale from business to consumer through electronic storefronts.
Web Log a file that contains information about visitors to a website.
Safe Harbor Principles a set of rules that address the e-commerce data privacy policies.
Clickstream Data this is the gathering of information based on the websites you have visited in the past and items that you have clicked on-Internet sites such as Amazon.
Electronic Shopping Cart A model commonly used by many e-commerce sites to track the items selected for purchase.
Electronic exchange an electronic forum where manufacturers-suppliers-and competitors buy and sell goods and trade market information.
E-commerce the buying and selling of products online using electronic data interchange-email-electronic bulletin boards-fax transmissions-and electronic funds transfer.
Community loyal people who are interested in the company and its products and services that use message boards and chat rooms to build the loyalty.
Commerce involves consumers and businesses paying to purchase physical goods and information or services that are posted or advertised online.
B2C business to consumer electronic business where in this form of e-commerce customer’s deal directly with the organization –this is in the early stages and grabs headlines.
B2B business to business buying & selling- considerably larger than B2C & C2C & is expected to grow more rapidly than the others-allows manufacturers to buy at a low cost worldwide & offers enterprises the chance to sell to a global market from the start.
C2C this means that a consumer sells something to another consumer-a good example is eBay which is basically an auction site that facilitates sales by one consumer to another.
