Charles Law | The volume of an ideal ga at constant pressure is directly proportional to the absolute temperature. |
Adaptation | Metabolic or physiologic adjustment within the cell, or tissues, of an organism in response to an environmental stimulus resulting in the improved ability of that organism to cope with its changing environment. |

Henry's Law | The amount of dissolved gas in a liquid is proportional to its partial pressure above the liquid. |
Arterial Anastomosis | A junction between two or more arteries. |
Dalton's Law | In a mixture of non-reacting gases, the total pressure exerted is equal to the sum of the partial pressures of the individual gasses. |
Interoceptor | A sensory receptor which receives stimuli from within the body, especially from the gut and other internal organs. |
