| industry based certification ( IBC ) | a credintial, usually issued by an industry or industry group, that verifies that an individual has met the established skill standards that are required to enter the workforce in a certain field |
| loans | mony lent with the interest that you have to pay back |
| masters degree | usually a second acedemic degree, at a higher level, in a specific area of study |
| college minor | a college or university students declared secondary acedemic discipline during undergraduate studies |
| prerequisite | something that is necessary to an end or to the carrying out of a function - a class you have to take before you can take a certain other class |
| scholarship | a grant in aid to a student; money you do not have to pay back |
