Unit 4 Commands

TermDefinition
Numeric Pad a set of keys with numbers on them; usually on the right of the keyboard
Function Keys keys with the letter F and a number; usually across the top of the keyboard
Arrow Keys keys with an arrow
Letter Keys keys with letters
Space Bar the long bar at the bottom of the keyboard
Control Key a special key for giving commands to the computer
Shift Key a special key that is held down to make a capital letter
Caps Lock a special key that PUTS EVERYTHING IN CAPITAL LETTERS
Tab Key a special key that moves the cursor quickly to the right
Click to press one of the buttons on a mouse
Backspace a special key that moves the cursor backwards
Delete a special key that takes out or removes letters
Insert a special key that let you add letters
Enter a key that tell the computer something is done
Escape a special key to undo a command
