Managing Document Changes

TermDefinition
All Markup This displays all changes and comments
Autocorrect Replaces symbols, commonly misspelled words, and abbreviations with specific text strings.
Balloons Markups in which comments are shown and the person’s card displays on the right side of the document when you select that person’s icon.
Inline Hidden comments where the reviewer’s initials appear in square brackets beside the selected text
Lock Tracking Prevents anyone from turning Track Changes off
No Markup Displays the document in a final copy without the markup
Original Displays the original document with no markups
Person Card This displays the Microsoft user that made the comment by displaying their n
Simple Markup Default view for comments; gives the document a more polished look with a balloon in the right margin for each comment
