Themes, Style Sets & Quick Parts

TermDefinition
Building blocks Contain built in reusable content such as text, graphics, and objects
Document theme A set of predefined formatting options that includes theme colors, fonts, and effects
Field A placeholder that Word uses to insert content into a document
Pull quote A small selection of text that is pulled out or quoted from a larger text
Style set Are predefined collections of styles with fonts and paragraph spacing included
Text box A formatted box in which you can insert and position text and/or graphic objects
Unicode This is a character code
Watermarks Built-in text that displays lightly behind text as words, such as confidential, draft, or urgent. You can customize watermarks to include text or images, such as company logos.
