Word lesson 5: Managing text flow

TermDefinition
Columns Enable you to split a document into two or more columns
Hyphenation Provides options to hyphenate words in a document
Landscape orientation Orients text along the longer dimension of the page
Margins
Non-breaking spaces
Orphan The first line of a paragraph that appears alone at the bottom of the page
Page break The location in a document where one page ends and a new page begins
Portrait orientation Text extends across the shorter length of the document
Section break Used to create multiple sections in the same document
Widow Last line of a paragraph that appears as a single line of text at the top of a page
