Columns | Vertical blocks of text in which text flows from the bottom of one column to the top of the next. |
Hyphenation | In word processing, hyphenation refers to splitting a word that would otherwise extend beyond the right margin. |
Landscape Orientation | Orients text across the longer dimension of the page. |
Margins | Areas of white space that border the top, bottom, and sides of a document. |
Non-Breaking Spaces | Wraps text to the next line to avoid awkward breaks at the right margin. |
Orphan | The first line of a paragraph that appears alone at the bottom of a page. |
Page Break | The location in a document where one page ends and a new page begins. |
Portrait Orientation | Text extends across the shorter length of the document. |
Section Break | Used to create multiple sections in the same document. |
Widow | The last line of a paragraph that appears as a single line of text at the top of a page. |
