Word lesson 3 Character Formatting

QuestionAnswer
Character Any single letter, number, symbol, or punctuation mark.
Character spacing Refers to the spacing in and around each character of text.
Character styles are applied to individual characters or words that you select.
Font A typeface that applies a style to characters
Live preview What the text would look like in the new font chosen.
Paragraph styles When selected the format is applied instantly to all texts in the paragraph
Point size Refers to the height of characters, with one point equaling approximately 1/72 of an inch.
Text Effects Adds a distinctive appearance to selected text.
