MSIA Lesson 3 Vocabulary

Character any letter, number, symbol, space punctuation mark or anything that can be typed on a computer
Character Spacing the adjustment of horizontal white space between letters or blocks of text
Character Styles Character styles are used to format a few letters in a paragraph
Font A design set of characters
Live Preview allows you to preview changes to ones document without having to commit to finalizing those changes
Paragraph Styles a collection is styles for formatting your paragraph
Point Size the measurement of height of all the fonts it uses within your document
Text Effects a effect added to text such as shadow glow outline and reflection
WordArt a text modifying feature in Microsoft word
