TermDefinition
Character Any single letter, number, or punctuation mark.
Character Spacing Refers to the spacing in and around each character of text.
Character Styles Apples to individual characters or words that you select.
Font A typeface that applies a style to characters.
Live Preview When you position the mouse of different fonts and the selected text changes to that certain font.
Paragraph Styles Applies the format instantly to all text in the paragraph where the insertion point is located.
Point Size Refers to the height of characters.
Text Effects Add a distinctive appearance to selected text, such as outline, shadow, glow, and reflection.
WordArt A feature that creates decorative effects with text.
