Basic Editing
| Term | Definition |

| Autocorrect | Is a feature that replaces symbols, commonly misspelled words, and abbreviations with specific text strings. |
| Clipboard | Stores the items for you to paste in another location of the document or another office files. |
| Copy | When word duplicates the copy to your clipboard. |
| Cut | When word removes it from the original location and places the text in the clipboard collection. |
| Document Properties | Identifies the creator of the document, the date the document was created, its subject and category, and keywords that can be used to search for the document. |
| Go To | Command provides a way to navigate through longer documents quickly. |
| Navigation Pane | Contains commands for moving and searching through a document. |
| Object Zoom | In read mode enables you to zoom in on objects such as tables, charts, or images while in read mode. |
| Paste | Then pate text from the clipboard to a new location in either the original document or a new document. when you cut or copy that what helps paste text in different locations. |
| Read Mode | Changes the page layout of the document with a larger font for easier reading. |
| Replace | It replaces one word or phrase with another. |
| Thumbnails | Page images. Reduced-size version of images. |
| Wildcard | Characters to find words or phrases that contain specific letters or combinations of letters. |
