| Entrepreneur | an individual who undertakes the creation, organization, and ownership of an innovative business with the potential for growth |
| Entrepreneurship | the process of recognizing or creating an opportunity, testing it in the market, and gathering the resources necessary to go into business |
| Venture | a new business undertaking that involves risk |
| Opportunity | an idea that has commercial potential |
| Small Business | a business in which the owner and manager is the same person, and which employs fewer than 15 people |
| Creativity | the use of imagination or original ideas |
| Financing | making financial decisions for new ventures |
| Image | the perception people have of your business |
| Innovation | the exploitation/creation of opportunities unto marketable ideas. This is the ability to apply creative solutions to problems. |
| Integrity | being honest and morally upright |
| Management | the process of dealing with or controlling people |
| Planning | the process of determining a course of action |
| Product | item offered for sale |
| Resourceful | able to deal skillfully and promptly with new situations |
| Resources | source of supply |
| Service | the work performed by one that serves another |
