Excel Intro Vocab

TermDefinition
Active Cell A cell that you can enter information into. It is outlined with a bold rectangle. AKA current cell.
Command Tabs Organized tabs on the ribbon.
Cell Each individual box on the grid. Where rows and columns intersect.
Column Starts at the top of grid and goes to the bottom. Organized by letters.
Command Group Each command tab is divided into command groups with options related to group name.
Backstage View provides access to files management commands-behind the scenes. Printing, documenting files.
Dialogue Box Launcher Tiny box at bottom of command that gives you more options.
File Tab Drop down menu at top that gives additional options.
