screen trip | ScreenTips are small windows that display descriptive text when you rest the pointer on a command or control. |
dialog box launcher | a small icon that appears in a group. Users click this icon to open related dialog boxes or task panes that provide more options that relate to the group. |
Mixed punctuation | actually means that you add a colon to the end of a salutation in your documents. |
quick access toolbar | is a customizable toolbar that contains a set of commands that are independent of the tab on the ribbon that is currently displayed. |
shortcut menu | The Toolbox, each page in the Toolbox, and each item on a page of the Toolbox. |
Tap | is a tab or button in an application or web page that returns you to the home section. |
Nonprinting characters | is a number that represents a non-written or non-printable character |
Open punctuation | is using few punctuation marks when writing. |
