TermDefinition
backstage view Creating, saving, printing, sending to others, inspecting for hidden metadata or personal information, and setting options.
drop down arrow Clicking on this icon allows them to make a selection from a list.
I beam A girder which has the shape of an I when viewed in section.
normal view is the standard view used for creating and viewing presentation slides.
text box Are used to add text in a drawing or paint program.

Mixed punctuation actually means that you add a colon to the end of a salutation in your documents.
quick access toolbar is a customizable toolbar that contains a set of commands that are independent of the tab on the ribbon that is currently displayed.
shortcut menu The Toolbox, each page in the Toolbox, and each item on a page of the Toolbox.
Tap is a tab or button in an application or web page that returns you to the home section.
Nonprinting characters is a number that represents a non-written or non-printable character
Open punctuation is using few punctuation marks when writing.
