i-beam The insertion point turns into the I-beam after putting your cursor on it
insertion point Upper left corner where u create text
menu a list of commands
mixed punctuation Requires a colon after the salutation
non printing characters Symbols for certain formatting certain formatting commands
open punctuation Requires no punctuation after the salutation
preview formatting a document for the printer
print write letters by hand or to produce mechanically copy a document
quick access toolbar is a customization toolbar that contains a set of commands
repeat Do a task that’s already been done
ribbon Control element with toolbars on multiple pages
save to save what you’ve done to your document
save as To save the same copy to the computer
settings Use to control document specific print parameters
tabs Allows you to to different websites and still being able to have previous ones open
template Template is a file that serves as a starting point for a new document.
undo is a function performed to reverse the action of an earlier action
white space is any section of a document that is unused
word wrap editors and word processors that moves to the next line when reaching the end without requiring you to press Enter
