| Administrative Law | Body of rules created by government agencies |
| Case Law | Set of laws that are based on appealed cases and set precedence for similar future cases. |
| English Common Law | Result of custom-based laws being unified by courts in England |
| Ethics | Rules used to determine the difference between right and wrong |
| Greatest Good | Examines whether the action will cause the greatest good for the greatest number of people |
| Law of Precedent | When a judge is required to follow an earlier court decision |
| Statutory Law | Act of a legislature that declares, prescribes, or commands something. |
