KI 1 Gushing Spring Function: Wood, sedation, entry, jing well On the sole of foot, between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones, approx one third of the distance between the base of the second toe and the heel, in a depression formed when plantar flexed
KI 2 Blazing Valley Function: Fire Ying Spring On the medial side of the foot, distal and inferior to the medial malleolus, in the depression distal and inferior to the navicular bone.
KI 3 Supreme Stream Function: Source, Earth, Shu-Stream In the depression between the medial malleolus and the achilles tendon, level with the prominence of the medial malleolus
KI 4 Great Bell Function: Junction Approx. 0.5 cun posterior to the midpoint of the line drawn between KI3 and KI5 on the anterior border of the achilles tendon
KI 5 Water Spring Function: Xi Cleft 1 cun inferior to KI 3, in a depression anterior and superior to the calcaneal tuberosity, the site of the insertion of the Achilles tendon to the heel
KI 6 Shining Sea Function: N/A 1 cun below the prominence of the medial malleolus, in the groove formed by two ligamentous bundles
KI 7 Returning Current Function: Metal Tonification, jing river On the medial aspect of the lower leg, in depression 2 cun superior to KI 3, on the anterior border of the Achilles tendon
KI 8 Exchange Belief Function: N/A On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 2 cun superior to KI3 and 0.5 cun anterior to KI 7, posterior to the medial border of the tibia
KI 9 Guest House Function: N/A On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 5 cun superior to KI 3, on the line drawn between KI3 and KI 10, about 1 cun posterior to the medial border of the tibia
KI 10 Yin Valley Function: Water, Horary, He-Sea At the medial end of the popliteal crease, between the semitendinosus and the semimembranosus tendons with the knee slightly flexed
