Vocabulary

TermDefinition
Publication a document containing text and graphics that is distributed in print or online.
Font the appearance of typed texts.
Logo a picture or graphic that visually represents a company of business.
Flyer a sign that usually contains informational or promotional material.
Format to change the appearance of text, objects, shapes, word art, text boxes, etc.
Page Borders allows you to put border (line, picture, or other artwork) around the whole page.
Line Color allows you to add color to the outside line of the selected objects (shapes, word arts, text boxes, etc.).
Fill Color allows you to add color to the inside of the selected objects (shapes, word arts, text boxes, etc.).
Shading allows to add colors to selected areas on the page (shapes, word art, text boxes, etc.).
Page Layout the way objects, shape, and text are arranged on the page.
Group when many objects are used to make one objects so that they can be moved or resized all at once.
Brochure a small booklet or pamphlet, often containing information or promotional material.
Text Wrapping formatting for the pictures that specifies how the text wraps around objects (shapes, pictures etc.) on the page.
Text Box a box that can be colored or transparent and automatically allows you to type within its boundaries.
Shapes objects that can be drawn on your page, you can add color, patterns, or text to these objects.
Bulleted List / Numbered List formatting for text that allows you to create lists throughout your documents.
Table a box that contains rows and columns and is used to organize data.
