Basic skills of Marketing
| Term | Definition |

| Interview | A formal meeting in person arranged for the assessment of the qualifications of an applicant. |
| Resume | A brief account of one's professional or work experience and qualifications. |
| Applicant | One who is applying for a job. |
| Associate's Degree | An undergraduate academic degree awarded by community and technical colleges upon completion of a course of study usually lasting two years. |
| Bachelor's Degree | An academic degree awarded for an undergraduate course or major that generally lasts for four years. |
| Master's Degree | Typically you earn this degree after you have already earned a bachelor's degree. It represents advanced study of a core content area |
| Recommendation | A favorable statement concerning character and qualifications. |
| Transferable skill | Mastery of a skill that can be used in a variety of occupations. |
| Values | Aspects of our lives which are most important, deserving of our time, effort and money. |
