Locating Career Info Skills vocabulary

career an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person's life and with opportunities for progress
certificate an official; document that proves you have successfully completed specific course contest
commision earnings based on how much a worker sells
contract worker employees of an employment agency who work for other businesses on a temporary basis
deducation amount of money taken from an employee's gross pay for taxes, insurance, and social security
education & training requirements the instructional background and skills needed to qualify for employment
fringe benefits extras provided by employers (other than wages)
full time working at least 40 hours per week
global economy worldwide financial management system
job benefits the extras an employer provides employees in addition to pay
job duty a task one is expected to preform on the job
job qualifications a special skill, knowledge, or ability that enables a person to preform a particular job
license a permit to do a particular thing or allow and activity to take place
nontraditional occupation/career a career in which one gender has 25% or less of the total workers
part time job jobs requiring less than 35-40 hours a week, depending on the employer.
piecemeal wages to be paid based on a quality produces or number of repetition preformed
salary fixed amount of money earned, regardless of hours worked
seasonal job a form of employment linked to specific periods of the years and sectors
