Content Knowledge (CK) Teacher knowledge about the subject that will be taught. Knowledge of concepts theories, ideas, organizational frameworks. As well as knowledge of evidence and proof to develop or teach knowledge.
Pedagogy Knowledge (PK) Teacher knowledge about processes and practices or methods of teaching and learning. As well as educational purposes, values, aims, general classroom management skills, lesson planning, and student assessments.
Technology Knowledge (TK) Knowledge about working with technology tools and resources. Understanding information technology enough to apply it to everyday life and recognize when it can assist or impede a goal. As well as being able to continually adapt to changes in technology.
Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) The transformation of subject matter for teaching. Teacher interprets subject matter , finds multiple ways to represent it, modifies or adapts the instruction materials to the students prior content knowledge.
Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) Understanding that content and technology constrain one another. Also understanding how you can change the subject matter by the application of technologies.
Technological Pedagogical Knowledge Understanding how teaching and learning can change when certain technologies are used in certain ways.
TPACK truly meaningful and deeply skilled teaching with the use of technology.
TPACK * understanding content using technologies. * Pedagogical techniques that use technologies * Understanding what makes concepts hard for students and how technology can help. * Knowledge on how to technologies can help build on prior knowledge.
